THE BETSY HOTEL PRESENTS PUBLIC PROGRAMS FOR THE 2023 JEWISH AMERICAN AND HOLOCAUST LITERATURE SYMPOSIUM November 12-14, 2023 at The Betsy - South Beach, Miami Beach. All events are free and open to the public.

The book matches global writers prominent and emerging of diverse backgrounds with distinct images from the period to create new perspectives for our times, through the lens of the Holocaust, challenging worrying international trends of xenophobia and anti-democratic movements. Event presenters include Miami-based poets Geoffrey Philp, Fabienne Josaphat, and project artist-in-residence violinist Dr. Steffan Zeichner performing pieces of resistance. The event will be hosted by co-editor Howard Debs and Dr. Samuel Edelman emeritus professor of Jewish, Israel, and Holocaust Studies and academic consultant for the Israel on Campus Coalition for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
