Event Details

Austrian jazz pianist, composer and Steinway Artist Markus Gottschlich just released this third album as a leader entitled "Found Sounts", which is receiving critical acclaim in international press. As an active musician and educator, Markus is working with young musicians in the US, Europe as well as Asia, conducting workshops and clinics. In 2020 his music was also featured in the Egyptian blockbuster "Ras El Sana" and in the Austrian music documentary "NYC - This is Us". Like his own life story, Markus' music reflects a unique blend of "old world" and "new world". In his captivating live performances, his lyricism and technique contribute to his highly-individual sound.
