Florence Naprix is a Guadeloupean singer, composer, and producer whose genre-blending sound has made her a rising star in Caribbean music. Trained in vocals and piano from a young age, she draws inspiration from jazz legends like Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, as well as neo-soul artists like Erykah Badu. After moving to France, Florence quickly gained recognition on the Paris music scene, performing at prestigious venues like Le Baiser Salé and collaborating with renowned artists including Mario Canonge and Tony Chasseur. Her debut album Fann Kann (2012) showcases her innovative fusion of jazz, biguine, zouk, ka, and electro—establishing her as a distinctive voice in contemporary Caribbean music.
Brian M.
