Let the Planning Begin

Director of Catering

The Greater Miami & The Beaches Hotel Association’s Catering Director of the Year in 2012, Julie Burstein has been The Betsy’s Director of Catering & Events since before the hotel opened in 2009. A Florida native who holds a BA in economics from the University of Florida, Julie moved to Miami after a career in fashion and as the director of sales for a catering start-up in New York City. A veteran with intimate knowledge of the hotel’s operations and venues, Julie’s trade secret is listening, and she’s won a strong following for the way she delivers on clients’ needs.

An Oasis of Arts

Surrounded by the din of South Beach, the Betsy is an oasis of relaxation, beauty and the arts. The food and drinks are delicious. The live music is always top-notch. The creative architecture is fun to explore. But I love the Betsy because they support arts and culture.

Just Keeps Getting Better

We’ve been coming to the Betsy for ten years or so and have given it excellent reviews each time. And with its recent expansion - more rooms, a fine library, a real fitness center, a rooftop pool...

The Betsy is South Beach’s top destination!

Best steak in Miami, gorgeous rooms, and the friendliest staff. Beautiful hotel that embraces fine art and classic Miami architecture. Not to mention, Betsy and Katie are the cutest Canine Executive Officers in the golden retriever universe!
