The Best Annual Events in Miami Beach
miami beach

Get your fill of arts, culture, and good food at these incredible Miami events. From great food and clear skies to museums, history, and deep blue waves, Miami Beach has tons to offer year round ― but that doesn’t take into account the times during the year when amazing festivals and events take over Miami Beach. There are plenty of annual events that make their home in Miami for a variety of interests. Even so, we must admit that there are a few to which we are partial. Here’s out go-to Miami event calendar!

The Miami International Boat Show
(February/March of each year)
If you love the open water, the Miami International Boat Show is for you. This annual event is a must-visit for sea-farers of all ages. They feature nearly 1,500 boats ― from fishing crafts to speed boats and yachts ― throughout SOBE’s Miami Marine Stadium Park. Even better? You get to spend some time on the water getting from vessel to vessel on water taxis (with life jackets provided for the kids, of course). Tickets are $30 for the day, $55 for two days, and an additional $45 for a “Premier Day” pass. Kids under 12 are free. The 2020 Miami International Boat Show will be held between Feb. 12 and 16. South Beach Wine and Food Festival
(February/March of each year)
Sponsored by the Food Network and the Cooking Channel, South Beach Wine & Food Festival has been a staple of Miami’s annual event calendar since 2002. Each year, the event takes over the beach, and offers a variety of exclusive culinary events from happy hours to tastings and more. Access to these events will cost a pretty penny (a dinner hosted by Bobby Flay costs $350 per person), but they are one-of-a-kind culinary experiences that will delight any foodie ― definitely worth a visit if you like the finer things in life. The Betsy's LT Steak & Seafood was the proud winner of the Very Best Burger at the 2019 Burger Bash. SOBEWFF 2020 will be held between Feb. 19 and 23. Watch How it is Made

Winter Music Conference
(Late March of each year)
The Winter Music Conference is far from Miami’s only music festival of the year, but it’s definitely the most unique. While Miami’s other fests boast incredible performers, WMC is more focused on the industry and technological advancements in the world of music. Featuring panels and keynote speakers instead of headliners, WMC is a different kind of music festival. It’s perfect for those as interested in the music industry as they are music itself. The 2020 Winter Music Conference will be held between March 16 and 22. More

Miami Classical Music Festival
(Held every summer)
The Miami Music Festival is relatively new to Miami’s arts and culture scene, but has made a splash in the few years it’s been running. Established in 2014, MMF has carved out a niche as the destination for newcomers to the classical music scene. Hosting a variety of events over eight weeks each summer, the Miami Music Festival works hard to engage Miami’s local community in their arts and culture events throughout the city. The 2020 Miami Beach Classical Music Festival will be held in June and July. More

Miami Art Week
(December of each year)
Miami Art Week is one of the biggest events in Miami ― and for good reason. Just about everyone gets involved with incredible, often exclusive, shows popping up in venues all around the city. Like its international counterparts, Miami Art Week showcases art of all kinds from up-and-coming names and established artists alike. Tickets to the event start at $45 and go up to $500 depending on your preferences. Miami Art Week is an incredible experience for those who have been collecting art for years as well as those just getting started. Art Basel Miami’s 2020 dates are TBD. The 2019 show will take place between Dec. 5 and 8. More
