Event Details

The Betsy Hotel presents public programs for the 2023 Jewish American and Holocaust Literature Symposium. All events are free and open to the public. 

David Patterson holds the Hillel A. Feinberg Distinguished Chair at the Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies, University of Texas at Dallas, and is a Senior Research Fellow for the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP).  A winner of the National Jewish Book Award and the Koret Jewish Book Award, he has published more than 40 books and more than 250 articles, essays, and book chapters on antisemitism, the Holocaust, and Jewish studies.  His most recent books are Eighteen Words to Sustain a Life (Wipf & Stock, forthcoming), Judaism, Antisemitism, Holocaust: Making the Connections (Cambridge, 2022), and Shoah and Torah (Routledge, 2022).
