Ricardo Cavolo: Mi Musica
The exhibition is compiled of digitally reproduced, select images from Cavolo’s book 101 Artist to Listen Before You Die (Lunberg, Spain/ Nobrow, UK.). Cavolo describes the book as “a personal diary speaking about myself trough music I love.” Every page is about a singer, musician, or band Cavolo listens regularly, each with a particular purpose in his life.

For some, Zimbabwe is a distant paradise, both mystical and wonderful whilst for others the concept of a lived reality operates as an absolute truth which is determined by the material conditions of the world in which we live. We too are longing for a paradise, where social equality exists defined by harmony, peace, and hope. It is a wonderful thought, isn’t it, that such a place would exist!

Alessandro Sarno is a Milan based artist who began his journey into photography in 2008 on the porch of The Betsy Hotel. As this artist’s muse, it seems fitting that The Betsy would be the host of Alessandro’s first Miami Exhibit.
