Ricardo Cavolo: Mi Musica

The exhibition is compiled of digitally reproduced, select images from Cavolo’s book 101 Artist to Listen Before You Die (Lunberg, Spain/ Nobrow, UK.).  Cavolo describes the book as “a personal diary speaking about myself trough music I love.” Every page is about a singer, musician, or band Cavolo listens regularly, each with a particular purpose in his life.

Born in Miami Beach in 1953, Sweet documented the life in Miami Beach and on Ocean Drive in the 70's and 80's. Sweet was witness to a unique time in the history of his hometown, when it was energized by a group of older Jewish immigrants, many of them Holocaust survivors.
