Laura Paresky Gould is a RISD-trained visual artist and motion designer whose work spans photography, animation, immersive installations, and commercial design. She began her career creating award-winning motion graphics and brand identities for Nike, NBC, CBS, and E!, earning multiple BDA Gold Awards, a Telly Award, recognition from the Art Directors Club and Type Directors Club, and later served as Design Director at Ocean Drive magazine. Laura co-founded a boutique identity studio, taught at Miami Ad School, and received the Stars of Design award for Graphic Design from the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA). Her photography has appeared in The New York Times, Vogue, Esquire, Condé Nast Traveller, and USA Today, and is included in museum, public, and private collections. Laura is the creator of Miami Color Theory, a visual exploration of color and the built environment. What began as a daily photo practice on Instagram grew into a video series for The Bass Museum of Art, the acclaimed book Seeing Differently: Miami Color Theory (Tra Publishing), and a range of public-facing experiences across Miami. The project has received recognition from Apple, Cultured, and Miami New Times (Best Instagram), and has been showcased through book signings, video displays, and public programs at PAMM, ICA, The Bass, Today at Apple, as part of No Vacancy during Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami Beach, projected on The Betsy Orb, and as a sold-out performance at the Miami Beach Bandshell with the Rhythm Foundation. She continues to expand her visual practice through new formats and environments, using color and composition to invite viewers to pay attention with intention.
