JAZZ – Friday and Saturday night, from 7pm to midnight

Virtuoso Pianist Mike Gerber appears on Friday night, a rare talent, who plays classical, jazz, blues, and everything else. St; Louis born, and blind since his youth, Mike never ceases to wow audiences when he attacks the ivories. Yamit Lemoine and Vinyl Blvd appear on Saturday night. Born in Israel, Yamit Lemoine began her classical training in voice and violin at the age of five. She was raised in Toronto, where she developed her love for Jazz, Soul, Blues and Broadway styles.

CHAMBER MUSIC – Saturday, May 11th at 3pm in the Library 

The husband and wife duo of Mari-Liis Pakk, violinist/violist and cellist Jason Calloway pay homage to to music composed by women, featuring works by Caroline Shaw, Betsy Jolas, Rebecca Clarke, and a new piece by the multi-talented Jessica Meyer.  Calloway is a professor at FIU and a member of the Amernet Quartet; Pakk is a music teacher at Gulliver Academy; they’ve played on stages around the world.

CHORAL MUSIC – Sunday, May 12th at 3pm in the Gallery 

Miami Collegium Musicum, directed by Dr. Donald Oglesby, is Miami’s community chamber choir. Celebrate the poetry of Walt Whitman, on his 200th birthday, in song. Works include Dona Nobis Pacem by Vaughan Williams, as well as the premiere of a new work by David Pagel, commissioned by the group. Also featured is a setting of a work by Composer Robert Cohen to words by Poet Hyam Plutzik, noted 3-time Pulitzer-Prize Finalist and father of Betsy owner, Jonathan Plutzik. Composers David Pagel and Robert Cohen will be present for the concert and a community reception will be held immediately followed the concert in The Carlton Room Panther Coffee Bar.

Treat mom to Brunch or Dinner at LT Steak & Seafood 

Executive Chef Danny Ganem whipped up mouth-watering menus to celebrate the moms in your life. Brunch menu highlights include Black Trumpet Mushroom Quiche and “Green Shakshouka”, the Dinner menu features a 35 Days Dry Aged Holstein Delmonico and Broiled Spiny Lobster Tail. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday starting at 11am until 4pm, Mother's Day Dinner menu will be served Friday, Saturday and Sunday night starting at 6pm.
