The Betsy is proud to be the home of one of the Nation’s fastest growing summer music festivals: The Miami Music Festival. Founded and directed by conductor/musician Michael Rossi, the Festival annually welcomes almost 300 of the world’s best and brightest emerging classical musicians for an enriching, life-changing educational performance experience – in one of the world’s most beautiful destinations – Miami Beach.
Hailing from the world’s great conservatories and having studied with the best performers around the globe, MMF classical musicians will arrive by June 1, 2019 – for more than 80 performances including Chamber Music, Opera, and Community Pop ups, taking place in wide ranging venues on the Beach. A special series at The Betsy includes Library Chamber Music Concerts, Evenings of Opera/Zarzuela & Broadway in the Gallery, and Pop-up Opera in The Lobby. Concerts at The Betsy Hotel are always free and open to the public.

Fourteen visiting artists associated with Miami (Classical) Music Festival will be in residence in The Betsy Writer's Room during the 8-week program. The Betsy has been the host hotel for Miami (Classical) Music Festival since its inception in 2015.
